Innovative German-French Collaboration

Inductive Smart Charging based on ISO 15118
Through an international “out of the box” collaboration with our French partners Centum AdeneoEFI Automotive, Magtech and  Laboratoire Ampère we were able to develop an innovative inductive charging system. Through this successful cooperation, we can thus bring an efficient, modular and cost-effective inductive charging system to the global market.

EMCC is part of an international cooperation project “AllFraTech”. The Cluster Electric Mobility Southwest intensifies its cooperation relations with relevant stakeholders in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region through the cross-border cooperation project “Franco-German Alliance for Innovative Mobility Technologies (AllFraTech)“. The jointly established cooperation strategy is the basis in the subsequent implementation phase for cross-border research and development projects on current issues relating to future mobility technologies.

Keolis Norge: Intelligent Charging Optimization of e-Buses in Norway

Keolis succeeds in starting to operate electric buses in Bergen with complete success. With MOBILEcharge, charging processes can be controlled and monitored. This makes it possible to see remotely if there is a fault, if a charge is not working, and how the state of charge of each bus develops during the night. This innovative and sustainable solution could be a model for many other cities.

7 Steps to Electric Mobility

Many aspects have to be considered and the overall strategy must be defined before electric buses can be successfully incorporated into your fleet. E-bus integration has an impact on numerous operational processes – from planning and scheduling to operations control. Electromobility is nothing short of a complete paradigm shift – but it can be mastered successfully in 7 steps.

Read out Control Units and check of Measurement Results while Working in Home Office

Before a vehicle goes into production, ECU functions must be safeguarded. Our  Flea 4+  measurement technology combines established remote access from home office with significantly more power and new functions. Every user can access securely the data from his desk with end-to-end encryption and provide the  Flea 4+  with new configurations. Through the cloud service, users can see status information, fault memory, vehicle usage analysis and which measurements have already been processed or which results have been generated.

Strategic Decision for Electric Bus Monitoring with MOBILEvhm in Hamburg

CarMedialab, an INIT company, is pleased to announce that Verkehrsbetriebe Hamburg-Holstein will technically monitor all current and future electric buses with MOBILEvhm. This will allow VHH to better understand how the vehicles and batteries behave in real-world operations, where strengths and weaknesses lie, and most importantly, how they can be efficiently deployed and operated.

“VHH is a very ambitious company, one of the drivers in the transition to zero-emission mobility. This is an ideal opportunity to contribute what we have learned in more than 10 years in the automotive industry,” said Heiko Bauer, Managing Director of CarMedialab GmbH.

Wallbox and CarMedialab collaborate in Smart Charging

Wallbox, together with CarMedialab, are running OCPP software in their Copper SB and Pulsar Plus range. This means the operating information inside those chargers can now be used with other software platforms, not just myWallbox.

For charge point operators, this opens up the opportunity to integrate Wallbox chargers with their infrastructure, knowing with confidence they’ll be compatible with their software programs.

Going forward collaboration is expected to continue between the two companies as they work together on newer versions of OCPP.

New Vehicle Health Management for buses

Problems with the vehicle are reported early on in the bus and in the control centre and the driver is given relevant support. Comprehensive vehicle monitoring during ongoing operations enables the dispatcher to get an overview of the situation in the bus himself. Unexpected breakdowns can be avoided, which increases the availability of the vehicles. As a result the entire fleet is more effective and customer-friendly.
